Ophelia was a recipient of Toastmasters “Communicator of the Year Award” for outstanding contributions to communication without prejudice in South Africa. Ophelia has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and many newspapers, magazines, and regularly appears on radio and television programs.
Ophelia’s Political Resume includes working on the 1988-89 Presidential campaign and White House Transition Team of George Bush in Washington, D.C. Transition Team Assignments were with Presidential Personnel and the Major Donors Group.
In recognition for her service in Africa, Ophelia had the pleasure of being introduced to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip on their State visit to Zimbabwe for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. She was also invited to meet Prince Charles and his two sons (Prince William and Prince Harry) when they visited South Africa to promote conservation and wildlife preservation.
